JSC Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk (ZiO) made two purchase contracts with JSC Kaliningradskaya Generation to design and supply four heat-recovery steam generators completed with auxiliary equipment for construction of Pregolskaya TPP in Kaliningrad, and three coal-fired steam boilers for Primorskaya TPP in Svetly town, Kaliningradskaya region.

For Pregolskaya TPP, ZiO will fabricate 4 HRSG of 110 MW each. Total capacity of the Thermal Power Plant will be 440 MW. One-by-one commissioning of the Power Units is planned during November 2017 till May of 2018.

For Primorskaya TPP, ZiO will deliver 3 steam boiler packages during 2016-2019. Design output of the Thermal Power Plant will be 195 MW. One-by-one commissioning of the Power Units is planned during January till July of 2019. The boilers will provided with a state-of-the-art system of dry slag removal. Such boiler plant can ensure specified NOx emissions by in-furnace technology only.

JSC Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk is known since 1919. The company’s experience reckons 70 years in design, engineering, and fabrication of steam and hot-water boilers of various types and output, firing diverse fuels (gaseous, liquid, solid)(conventional boilers, heat-recovery steam generators for combined cycle plants (with gas turbine units of 6 MW and over), boilers for incineration plants, etc.).

Since 2015, in line with the Import Substitution Program, ZiO carries out design supply of dry fan-type cooling towers for thermal power units.
